Is Billvate really free?

Yes! The FREE plan includes ALL features: unlimited invoices, unlimited clients, all 12 templates, recurring invoices, client portal, custom branding, payment reminders, and analytics. The only difference with Pro ($9/mo) is removing the small "Powered by Billvate" footer from invoices.

What are the payment processing fees?

Billvate charges just 1.0% on successful payments - one of the lowest in the industry. Stripe's standard processing fees (2.9% + 30¢ for cards) are separate and go directly to Stripe. No hidden fees, no monthly minimums.

How do clients pay my invoices?

Clients receive an email with a secure payment link. They can pay instantly using credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, or bank transfer (ACH) - no login required. You get notified immediately when payment is received, and the invoice is automatically marked as paid.

What is OFAC compliance and why does it matter?

OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) compliance means we screen all users against US Treasury sanctions lists. This protects your business from unknowingly transacting with sanctioned individuals or countries, keeping you compliant with US regulations.

Can I cancel anytime?
